A few weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely Jess from Raffles Bizarre who told me I had been chosen to review some of her lovely handmade bracelets. I was so excited, as you all very well know, I am a sucker for handmade jewellery and think it is important to support other artists and crafters. Jess so kindly asked me about the sort of jewellery I liked to wear and created a special customised pack of beautiful bracelets, featuring colourful threads in pinks, lilacs and purples, pretty pearl beads and a cute peace sign charm.

When I first received them the first thing that hit me was how well the bracelets complimented each other. Jess really does have an eye for design! I love how each of the bracelets are different, some made from thread and others chain, as you can see in the close up image above. You can tell that they have been well made, one of the thread bracelets even features a clasp, which proves their high quality - they aren't your average friendship bracelets!

I decided to wear quite a girly outfit today and found that the pastel colours and pearls featured on the bracelets compliment it just perfectly. The bracelets fit so well and feel so comfortable that I can't imagine I'll take them off very often (apart from sleeping & showers) as I know they'll look great with all of my other outfits too.

I am so impressed with Jess's bracelets and recommend that you head on over to see what other lovely things she has to offer on the Raffles Bizarre website. The packs are all very reasonably priced ranging from  £3 to £5, making them perfect for gifts. You simply can't go wrong with handmade items like these, as you know that every item is going to be slightly different, giving them a unique, special quality! For those of you who want to get to know the girl behind the jewellery, head on over to the Raffles Bizarre blog or send Jess a tweet @rafflesbizarre
