If like me you love to be one of the first to know about new skincare brands, then I think you are going to enjoy this post! Over the last couple of weeks I was given the chance to try out four fantastic products from the natural skincare brand St. Grape. What really appeals to me about this brand is that they combine natural ingredients with ancient wisdom and modern science to offer unique high quality skincare products.
The Aqua Bliss face and body scrub contains 97% natural ingredients including mineral sea salt and natural oil extracts from around the world. It is free from sulphates, silicones, parabens, artificial colours and petrochemicals. To use the product you simply scoop a small amount out with your hand whilst in the bath or shower, scrub it onto your damp skin for a couple of minutes and then rinse it away with warm water. It contains the finest grains I have ever seen in a scrub and is gently enough to be used on all skin types. The Aqua Bliss scrub has a floral aroma which is not usually a positive in my opinion, however when used in the shower, I find it to be quite calming and relaxing! I love how soft and smooth my skin feels after using this product. It definitely has refreshing and rejuvenating qualities which some other body scrubs on the market seem to lack.
The Aqua Bliss natural face and body scrub costs £12.00 for 150 ml and can be purchased directly from the St. Grape website.
Exotic Pink Soaking Salt
St. Grape’s unique hand-crafted exotic soaking salt is enriched with 100% natural grade A Himalayan pink salt and pure essential oils. It is great for using as a bath salt or for soaking your feet after a long day at work! The salts are great for exfoliation, removing dry skin skills and making the skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. I really enjoy using this in the bath when I want to relax and wind down. The therapeutic oils in the salts are said to combat fatigue and relax the mind and body, which is certainly what I need after staring at the computer all day writing! It is also recommended for people that suffer from joint and muscle pains. I love the cute gift-like packaging that the exotic soaking salt bottle came in and the fact that they also included a small draw string bag for you to put some of the lavender scented salt in to keep in your drawers.
The Exotic Soaking Salt costs £15.00 for 600g and can be purchased directly from the St. Grape website.
I had a hard time choosing a favourite product out of the four and it was initially between the Ancient Foot Scrub and the Aqua Bliss body scrub, but in the end it had to be the Ancient Foot Scrub. I think I was immediately drawn to this product as I had never used a foot scrub before and therefore the benefits were new to me and have made such a difference to my skin.
Like the Aqua Bliss body scrub, the Ancient Foot Scrub contains 97% natural ingredients including high quality mineral sea salt and pure essential oils. You simply scoop it out and scrub it into your feet for a minute or two before rinsing it away with warm water. I usually use it just before I get out the bath, or if I have had a shower, I’ll do it over the bath afterwards as it can get a little messy! Although I do not enjoy the scrubbing part (as I’m a little ticklish) I do love how incredible soft it leaves my skin feeling. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is on their feet all day at work, or sufferers of dry skin. You will be surprised at the difference it will make, just like I was! Although it is fairly expensive at £25.00, it does make a huge difference to the skin on your feet and your feet are definitely worth looking after!
The Ancient Foot Scrub costs £25.00 for 500g and can be purchased directly from the St. Grape website.
Invisible Skin Massage Oil
The Invisible Skin Massage Oil is probably my least favourite product out of the four, but that is purely down to the fact that I am not so keen on massage oils! However for the purpose of this review I did give the product a try. The Invisible Skin Massage Oil is 100% organic and is enriched with natural essential oils. You can use it on the face (one drop) and body and it leaves the skin feeling replenished with moisture. To relieve stress, reduce muscle pains and improve blood circulation, you need to massage it into the skin using upward and outward circular motions. I wish I liked the feeling of massage oils on my skin more, because this product is of such a high calibre! It does have a fairly strong and somewhat minty scent, which wasn't too my taste, but the moisturising qualities are certainly top notch! If you are not weird like me and actually enjoy massages, then I would definitely recommend giving this product a go.
St. Grape's Invisible Skin Massage Oil costs £25.00 and comes in a lovely glass bottle with a stopper! It can be purchased directly from the St. Grape website.
Natural cruelty-free products
After trying out all four products, it was certainly obvious to me that St. Grape have put a lot of time and effort into perfecting their products. You can tell from the quality of the scrubs and the finely perfected grains that care and attention has been paid during production. I love the fact that St. Grapes only use natural ingredients and does not test their products on animals, which gives them hundreds of bonus points in my opinion. The two scrubs are definitely my favourite products out of their four and I would happily go as far as saying they are the best skincare scrubs I have ever used.
The only thing I would have to comment negatively on is the packaging of the scrubs, which I have been told is actually being changed before the products are officially launched in the UK in time for Christmas. There is nothing particularly wrong with the packaging, it just needs modernising and livening up in order to make it more appealing to customers!
Where to find St. Grape
