Mini Boots Haul

I only went into Boots to pick up the No7 Essentially Natural Foundation, but as usual I got a little carried away and ended up treating myself to a few other products. Everything I picked up was either on three for two or was offered at a discounted price, so that was a good enough excuse for them to end up in my basket!
The No7 Essentially Natural Foundation is an old favourite that I re-discovered the other day. I had completely forgotten how much I liked it! I picked up one of the lightest shades (may have even been the lightest) Calico, which is quite a good match for my skin tone. If anything, it's a little darker than the foundation I usually wear (Rimmel Match Perfection Light Porcelain) though it'll be perfect for summer. What I like about this foundation is that it is really easy to apply and offers a light / medium coverage. It also claims to be hypo-allergenic and since my skin has been a little sensitive as of lately, I hope it's going to be kind!
I usually apply my foundation with the Real Techniques buffing brush or if I want to go for a really natural / light base, my fingertips. However whilst browsing the aisles in Boots, I came across the Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge and decided to give it another go. I say another, because I bought it when it was first released and ended up losing it so I never really got to try it out properly. I'm hoping it'll give me the light, flawless base it claims too.
After receiving a sample of the Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo and conditioner in a magazine, I decided to treat myself to the 'Sleek restorer' shampoo. The coconut oil and cocoa butter scent is absolutely divine and I love how silky smooth it leaves my hair. The shampoo was on offer, costing just £1.94 and I wish I'd picked up the matching conditioner too. Damn it Megan!
I also picked up the Blanx White Shock toothpaste on a bit of a whim. If you read my teeth whitening blog post, you'll know I am a fan of the Blanx Intensive Whitening Treatment, so since this was a newer product by the same brand, I thought I'd give it a go. What I didn't realise is that it comes with an LED light that you attach to the cap. This is supposed to activate the toothpaste or something or other. I'm worried that it's going to be a gimmicky product, but I'll give it a good go and let you know my thoughts in a future review post.

In my favourite spring nail polish post I shared my love for the Rita Ora for Rimmel polish 'Breakfast in Bed.' I liked the formula so much that I decided to pick up another polish, this time in a hot pink shade called 'Don't be shy.' This will be the perfect polish for adding a pop of colour to my outfits. Speaking of adding a pop of colour, I also picked up a Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in the shade Ole Flamingo! This range of liquid lipsticks has been highly praised by beauty bloggers I value the opinions of, so I am eager to see if it meets my high expectations.
Have you tried any of these products?
