Budget Beauty: Makeup Revolution Haul

Makeup Revolution Haul | Budget Beauty | Seek My Scribbles

After seeing so many blog posts about a new budget beauty brand, Makeup Revolution, I thought I'd treat myself to a few new bits and bobs. I picked all of this up for just £15.00 (+ £2.95 delivery) which I think you'll agree is pretty amazing. Not only do Makeup Revolution offer lovely looking makeup at purse-friendly prices, but they are also against animal testing, which makes the brand all the more appealing to me.

The first thing I popped in my basket was the gorgeous Iconic 3 eyeshadow palette, which has been called a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I haven't tried the Naked 3 palette (it's much too expensive for my liking) so I can't compare them, however the shade selection does look pretty similar.  I love the fact you get a mixture of mattes and shimmers in this palette - I can't wait to try it out! It costs just £4.00, whereas the Naked 3 costs about £40.00! Obviously there must be a difference in quality, but still, £4.00 - wow!

I think baked makeup products always look so beautiful, so I couldn't resist picking up the Astral eye shadow (£1.50) and One For Playing Games, a pinky-lilac toned blusher (£2.50).  These are both shimmery and so pretty. I think the lilac tones will look really lovely against my super-pale skin!

I've wanted a grey nail polish for a while now as I think it's such a sophisticated colour, so I picked up  Promises, a light grey nail polish (£1.00). I also picked up one of the raved about Salvation Intense Lip Lacquers in the shade 'More than I could give' (£3.00). As you can see in the swatch below it is a neutral shade with a slight peachy tone, making it the perfect summer shade.

More than I could give // Beloved // Sweetheart // Lady

Finally I picked up three of the Makeup Revolution lipsticks (£1.00 each) in the shades Beloved, Sweetheart and Lady. I decided to pick up two pink shades as I don't own many pale pink lipsticks and I was about due another classic red lippy, so Lady it was!

I will be sure to share reviews of all of these Makeup Revolution products once I have given them a fair trial. If you have done a Makeup Revolution haul feel free to share your link below and let me know what you picked up!
