May Favourites

May Favourites | Seek My Scribbles | UK fashion and beauty blog

I really don't want to do the cliche, can you believe it's June already, but can you?!?! Time flies by way too quickly for my liking. Anyway it's May favourite's time and I have four lovely products to share with you.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+
First up we have what I like to call my 'wonder cream,' La Roche-Posay's Effaclar Duo+. If you read my skincare saviours post, you'll know that I had been using the Effaclar Duo tester to treat my troublesome chin acne. Well since the Effaclar Duo+ was supposed to be all that and more, I thought I'd give it a go and so far so good! I've definitely seen improvements, as my spots have pretty much cleared up now. I'll do a full review in a few weeks time, as I like to give these things a proper trial, but it's definitely getting a thumbs up from me at the moment.

The Body Shop Camomile Eye Makeup Remover
This makeup remover is perfect for heavy eye makeup days when you have a lot of liquid liner and mascara to take off. What I like about The Body Shop's Camomile eye makeup remover is that it is really gentle and inoffensive. It is scent, colour and alcohol-free and therefore should be suitable for sensitive skin. At £8.00 a bottle it's not the cheapest eye makeup remover, but I will definitely be re-purchasing it, as it removes the makeup well without causing any irritation - something which can't be said for all makeup removers and cleansing wipes!

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter
Another favourite from The Body Shop is the strawberry body butter which I raved about in my recent blog post about the strawberry gift set I received. Whilst I don't want to repeat myself, what I will say is that it is easily the best body butter I have ever used. I love it as much as my Vivienne Westwood body lotion and I have a lot of love for that product.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector
The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector has been one of my favourite lip products for a good few months now. Not only does it give the lips a subtle and flattering glossy look (not sticky), but it also contains shea butter which nourishes and repairs them. It has a lovely strawberry scent and an easy to use sponge applicator, making it perfect for applying on-the-go!
