5 bad beauty habits

1. Touching my face
Touching your own face isn't a crime, but it is often the cause of blemishes and breakouts. Every time you touch your face, you're transferring the germs and oils on your hands onto your skin. I'm so guilty of this bad beauty habit. Whenever I'm reading something on my laptop, I'll sit with my hand over my chin - the area of my face most prone to breakouts!

2. Peeling off my nail polish
I love peeling off my nail polish! It's so satisfying when it comes off in one go. It doesn't look too great when you go out leaving your nail polish half-peeled though.

3. Picking & squeezing my skin
I pick at my skin and it's not at all nice, but it's one of those habits that I'm still trying to break after years and years of doing it. I'm not just talking about spots on my face, but any little bumps on my arms too. Sometimes I find myself searching for something to squeeze, it's gross. As much as I tell myself I shouldn't do it because of scarring, trying to break this habit is easier said than done!

4. Not heat protecting my hair
Thanks to the hundreds of products out there, protecting your hair from heat damage is easy, however this is something that I forget to do all too often. All I need to do is go out and pick up a heat protection spray, but every time I go in to Boots I find myself coming out with everything but the thing I actually need!

5. Leaving my brushes unwashed
I don't have many makeup brushes, but washing them is still a chore. I only have one set so it's a pain having to wait for them to dry. Excuse to buy more makeup brushes? I think so!

Now I've fessed up, it's your turn!
