8 things you might not know about me

There are so many bloggers I adore and some of my favourite posts have to be the ones where I get to know them a little better. Call me nosey, but I sure love getting to know the people behind the blogs I read day in, day out. With this in mind, I thought I'd write a little post sharing eight things you might not know about me.

1. I am the world's biggest worrier
I worry a lot, so I over-plan and when things don't look like they're going to plan, I worry some more. I'm trying to learn to be a little bit more laid back!

2. I have been with my boyfriend for nearly six years
This Autumn, James and I will have been together six years! I don't share too much about him on here, but let's just say he's a good egg.

3. I can't drive
I'm scared of driving! I took my test years ago and unfortunately failed for forgetting to look over my shoulder during a manoeuvre. I'll get round to doing it again one day...

4. I still live with my parents
I moved back to my parents' house after uni with my boyfriend in tow. I wasn't sure what my money situation would be like when I first started freelancing and didn't want to risk it. A couple of years on and things are really looking up, so who knows, maybe we'll be able to have our own place again soon!

5. I haven't had many jobs
Most people decide to start a business after working for other people. I have only ever had three part time jobs. I worked in a pharmacy, in a cafe and then in a restaurant. I've always known I wanted to work for myself.

6. I have hypothyrodism
I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid when I was nine. Apparently it was quite rare for someone so young to have hypothyroidism.

7. I really want to write a book
I write articles and blog posts for a living, but one day I would love to write a novel.

8. I hardly own any luxury / high end beauty products
Shock horror! As much as I love makeup, I don't like parting with my money to buy it. This is why the majority of reviews here on Seek My Scribbles feature budget friendly beauty products.

I hope you enjoyed this little post!
