Do you ever feel like you have so many ideas in your head, but when it comes to executing them, you don't know where to start? I've felt like that all week. To start with I thought it was blogger's block, but I've come to realise the ideas are there, it's just that they are all buzzing around my head and I'm at a loss of where to begin.
Vertigo - My current bout of vertigo is definitely partly to blame for this confused state I've found myself in. I've had it a full week now and let me tell you it's not pleasant! I can only describe it as when you're really drunk and you sit on the loo in whatever bar you're in and the whole world is spinning. It's a lot like that but without the drunken giggles.
Scrapping the schedule - Something else I've come to realise this week is that I over-plan my life and I feel like it's stopping the 'creative juices' from flowing. Rather than planning every half hour of my working week, I'm going to try and go with the flow and take more breaks. I'm sure I'm not alone and that other freelancers are as rubbish at taking breaks away from the computer as I am, but breaks and fresh air are both so important!
Scandal -After initially trying to battle through the vertigo and dizziness, I ended up cutting down my work load this week and giving myself time to rest. It's definitely done me the world of good, but it has also given me time to get addicted to yet another TV programme - this time it's Scandal. There's a reason everyone's talking about it boys and girls. It's epic.
Whilst this week has certainly been a funny one, I'm going into Monday feeling positive, refreshed and ready to write.
