Benefit Dupe?

Hello there;
Firstly let me introduce myself, I am Sian Marie from Sian Marie Beauty! I love blogging about make up, hair care and general life. Please feel free to pop on over and say hello!

Now the self promotion is out of the way, let's get down to business. I have known Megan quite a while now, we go way back to the MySpace days. We lost contact but have found each other since through Twitter and the rest is history. She asked me to do a guest post on her blog whilst she was on holiday. I hope you are having a good time!

I am here talking to you today about a Benefit dupe! Benetint.

I have had the Benetint sample size for ages now - as you can tell from the destroyed bottle. I believe I got this from a monthly magazine. I can remember getting this and thinking HOW DO I USE YOU? I was so uncultured at this point in my make up life. After a little research, I discovered that it was a multi use tool. Lips and cheeks. Personally I never liked the colour of this on my cheeks, it made me look a little clown like. I will stick to my powder blushers. But this on my lips. A different story. It's a great product to add on top of a red lip to give it extra dimension. Or just on its own to add a hint of colour. Benetint retails at £24.50 for 12ml, this is full size. It lasts forever as you can tell.

Now, the dupe.

Me Me Me Cherub's Blush.
If I had the full size version of Benetint, you would see that there is no difference in the amount that you get. The biggest difference is the price. For the same amount of product 12ml, Me Me Me costs £5.50. A massive difference.

Top - Benetint
Bottom - Cherub's Blush
As you can see above there is that much difference in the colour too. Benetint is slightly more pink, than Cherub's Blush, which is a deeper red. The colour pay off is slightly different and Benetint sticks around a little longer than Cherub's Blush. But when you are spending nearly triple the amount, I wouldn't expect anything less. Benetint also lasts longer, but again for the price you would want it to.

There isn't a lot between these two at all. Me Me Me Cosmetics have developed a great dupe for people who cannot afford the Benefit version. They both are fantastic products, that I think should be a staple in any make up lovers collection.

Have you tried any of these products?!

A BIG thank you to Sian for her lovely guest post! Be sure to check out her blog & give it a follow.
This is a scheduled post. I am currently on holiday.
