Falafel burger at Giraffe // Salted caramel cheesecake at Browns // Raspberry champagne cocktail at Browns // Berry Bellini at Giraffe // Strawberries at chocolate at Hilton Sheffield
Last Friday I turned the grand age of twenty four and I was well and truly spoilt! After a chilled out breakfast with the family, I was whisked away to the Hilton hotel in Sheffield, where I was to spend the next couple of nights. James had sneakily called ahead and arranged for there to be a bottle of champagne in the room and it was such a good surprise! Thank you to the lovely people at the Hilton for including the strawberries and chocolate too - they were delicious! James had also bought me a gorgeous fresh water pearls jewellery set featuring a bracelet, necklace and pair of earrings. He really is the best when it comes to picking out beautiful jewellery.

We spent the weekend chilling out, shopping, eating tasty food (that burger was amazing) and drinking far too much wine (and cocktails). We also had a swim in the Hilton pool to try and work off some of the delicious food we had indulged in at Brown's the night before. The pool was heated (always a bonus) and the other facilities (sauna, steam room etc) were lovely too. After having such a wonderful weekend at the Hilton hotel in Sheffield, I'll definitely be going back to stay there again.

During the weekend I made a couple of trips to Meadow Hall (the big shopping centre in Sheffield) to pick up a few beauty items and additions to my autumn / winter wardrobe, including the dress above. It was the perfect evening dress to pair with my new pink faux fur jacket, which my mum and dad kindly bought me for my birthday! I'm planning on sharing the other bits and bobs I bought too in a little birthday haul post later this week, so be sure to look out for that.

I had such a wonderful birthday and it's all thanks to my mum, dad, brother and of course James! Thank you all so much. I think 24 is going to be a good year for me and I can't wait for part two of the birthday celebrations with my best friends next weekend.
