Although I buy the majority of Arthur's baby clothes from stores like Next, John Lewis and F&F, there are fantastic independent stores out there that I'm starting to discover, through social media sites like Instagram and Twitter. One such store I've recently come across is Lil' Cubs, an independent baby brand specialising in bright patterns and prints for boys and girls.
As soon as I saw the gorgeous red and green Apple Sleepsuit, (£13.00) I knew I had to get it for Arthur. It reminded me of the Cosatto Strudle 3Sixti High Chair, which he got from his granny and grandad for Christmas, to use in a few months time! I chose to get the sleepsuit in size 3-6 months as Arthur has now grown out of the majority of his 0-3 month stuff.
Aside from the beautiful bold pattern, the thing I love most about this sleepsuit is that it's virtually popper free (there's just one on the neck!) Instead it has a zip so you can fasten it in seconds, rather than faffing around with numerous poppers and getting in a kerfuffle. It doesn't matter how many times you've changed your babies outfit - I guarantee when someone is watching you do it, you'll do the poppers up wrong. The zip on the Lil' Cubs sleepsuit is foolproof!
The sleepsuit also comes in a gorgeous Rainbow Chevron pattern and there are dribble bibs and muslin squares to match. If you love the sound of bright and bold, gender neutral baby clothes, I definitely recommend checking them out!
