Oldies but goodies | Shopping my makeup stash

I don't know about you, but I love re-discovering old makeup favourites in my beauty stash! It almost feels like you have been shopping without spending a single penny. Today I thought I'd share three 'oldie but goodie' makeup products that I've re-discovered just in time for summer.

Sleek Blush By 3 Lace - £9.99

First up we have the Sleek Blush By 3 palette in 'Lace.' I bought this last year and had completely forgotten how much I loved it and how perfect it is for summer makeup looks. The palette contains three powder blushers - Crochet, Guipure and Chantilly. My favourite out of the three is the middle shade, Guipure, which contains golden shimmer particles. This is perfect for dusting over your cheeks for a subtle shimmery glow. What I would say, is that when it comes to applying these blushers, you need to use a light hand! Start out with a little on your brush, you can always build the colour up to intensify it if you wish to. I also really like the fact this blusher palette by Sleek has a nice and big travel-friendly mirror. If you've used Sleek blushers before, you'll know that they are amazing quality and offered at a purse-friendly price point. This Blush By 3 Lace palette was £9.99.

Bourjois Cream Blush 02 Nude Velvet - £7.99

Next up we have a product that received a lot of blogger attention when it was first launched; the Bourjois Cream Blush. I picked up the shade nude velvet, a subtle peachy shade that is perfect for summer. These blushers are creamy in the pan but when you apply them to your skin they have a powder finish. They have great lasting power and are perfect for those looking to delve into the world of cream blushers for the first time. You can pick up Bourjois Cream Blushers at Boots for £7.99.

Ted Baker Lip Crayon

Last but not least we have this gorgeous bright pink lip crayon from Ted Baker. I received this as part of a gift set (which is why I haven't included a price) and funnily enough when I first got it, it was my least favourite of the four lip crayons. However I soon realised it is perfect for those days when you want to add a pop of colour to your lips, to make a statement or brighten up a more neutral look. This particular crayon has gold shimmer running through it (I love my gold shimmer) but this isn't overly noticeable on the lips, making it a really wearable shade. I've seen a few Ted Baker Lip Crayon sets floating around on eBay if you're desperate to pick one up, but if you can't find it, there are plenty of lip crayons from the likes of Bourjois, Rimmel and Revlon to choose from.
