6 Skincare Staples

Like many other beauty bloggers, I enjoy trying out new skincare products, but when I find something that really works, I'm very reluctant to replace it with anything else. I almost daren't say that my skin has massively improved over the last couple of weeks, in fear that I'm cursing myself, but it really has and I believe it's down to some of the products featured above!

1. Garnier Micellar Water - £3.99 (down from £4.99) - Boots
I'm not going to lie, I've been really lazy recently and have been mostly using this micellar water to take off my makeup. It removes all makeup (even pesky mascara and eyeliner) really easily and I find it to be really gentle on the skin. It's the best micellar water I've tried and it's great value for money.

2. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ - £15.50 - Boots
I've spoken about how much I like La Roche Posay's Effaclar Duo+ numerous times, but once more won't hurt right? I find this product great for calming down breakouts and it's also supposed to prevent scarring too so that's a bonus! It says to apply it to the whole face, but I tend to just use it a long my chin where I get blemishes.

3. Aloe Calming Toner - £8.50 - The Body Shop
I always like to use a toner after I have cleansed my skin and the Aloe Calming Toner has long been my product of choice. This alcohol-free toner is designed for sensitive skin. It is great for removing any traces of makeup that your cleanser has missed and also primes the skin ready for your moisturiser. Aloe has calming and soothing properties, making this a very gentle toner.

4. Botanics Refreshing Eye Roll on - £4.49 (down from £8.99) - Boots
This is a gel-based eye product, designed to reduce dark circles and puffiness. It has a rolly-ball-thing which makes it easy and in my opinion fun to apply (no need to tell me - I know I'm weird). The eye roll on contains hyaluronic acid which hydrates the skin and hibiscus which is great for making the skin appear brighter.

5. Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser - £24.00 (50ml) - Balance Me
When I first tried this moisturiser sample, I really didn't like it but after loving the Balance Me BB cream so much, I decided to give it another go and now I actually really like it! If you can get over the overly floral scent that all Balance Me products seem to have, you'll find this moisturiser great for smoothing and hydrating the skin. One of the things I like most about Balance Me is that the majority of their products contain 99% natural ingredients.

6. Vitamin E Sink in Moisture Mask - £13.00 - The Body Shop
This lovely hydrating mask is like a thick, jelly-like moisturiser. Simply pop it onto dry skin for ten minutes, wipe it away and your skin will be left feeling soft, soothed and hydrated. I like the fact that this isn't a messy-mask and that it is really cooling on the skin. If you want to try it out you can pick up a sample sachet for £2.00.

So there we have my six of my skincare staples, what are yours?
