Bourjois Cream Blush 04 Sweet Cherry Review

Bourjois Cream Blush 04 Sweet Cherry - £7.99 - Boots

It's no secret that I love the Bourjois Cream Blushes and their cream to powder formula. They are super easy to apply (I like to use a stippling brush) and have great lasting power. I wore the peachy shade 'Nude Velvet' throughout the summer but have recently switched to 'Sweet Cherry' which I think is the perfect autumnal blush shade. It's what I'd describe as a vintage pink as it has a slight brown hue. It is great for adding a subtle wash of colour to the apples of the cheeks and is one of those shades that will suit all complexions.

The Bourjous Cream Blush is described as having a 'second skin' feel. It's not the least bit cakey and is so lightweight that you can't even tell you're wearing it. I don't like to wear too much blush so I always apply it with a very light hand, but the blush is easily buildable if you did want a more intense flush of colour.

I love the classy packaging of the Bourjois Cream Blushes and the fact they match the colour of the blush in the pan (making them easy to spot in your makeup bag). I also like that they've got a little mirror on the inside, as it makes it easier to apply the blush on the go.  Oh and the lid makes such a satisfying snap noise when you close it. I'm sure you know what I mean?

The Bourjois Cream Blush has quickly become my go-to blush and I can't see that changing any time soon! If you are looking for a lovely autumnal blush or simply want to try a cream blush for the first time, I highly recommend treating yourself to a Bourjois Cream Blush. All the shades are really wearable and at £7.99 they're not going to break the bank either!

What do you think of this blush? Is it one you'd wear?

  1. I understand the satisfaction of the click noise haha.
This is such a lovely colour, I alway use powder blushes and never really ventured into cream blushes as they seem a bit scary to me.
But these look really nice and actually not that expensive either.

    1. Glad it's not just me haha! This ones a lovely cream blush because it actually turns into a powder once it's applied, so definitely a good one if you're not confident in using cream blushes :) xo

  2. I was always a bit worried about cream blushes as they seemed a bit cakey but I've tried this and you're right, it's just so lightweight and gorgeous!

  3. I need a new blush, but am nervous of looking like I have way too much on - particularly with the cream blushes. Your review is really good so I might give this one a try!

  4. This ones a really great cream blush to try if you're new to them! It turns into a powder when you apply it to the cheeks so it's really easy to work with. xo
