My top 3 lipsticks for autumn

Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencil - 210 Keep It Classy // Kate Moss for Rimmel - 107 // Bourjois Rouge Edition - 04 Rose Tweed
I'm not really one for changing my makeup looks very often, but when autumn rolls around I tend to pop away my coral coloured lipsticks and glosses in favour of something a little darker and more classy. For me autumn is all about deep red, plum and berry shades, with two of my favourites being the Rimmel Kate Matte lipstick in 107 (a bloggers' favourite) and a fairly new purchase, Maybelline's Color Drama lip pencil in the shade Keep It Classy, which you can find a full review of here. The berry lip is perfect for pairing with neutral smokey eyes or barely there eye makeup (just add lashings of mascara).

Now I know that not everyone is a fan of the berry lip and that is A-OK! Some people don't think a berry lip suits them and others just prefer more pink / nude shades. My final autumn lipstick choice is a lovely vintage pink lipstick from Bourjois called Rose Tweed. The formula of this lipstick (from the Rouge Edition range) is one of my favourites, as it glides onto the lips effortlessly and has a slight glossy finish. It's a great pinky / brown nude shade for those like me who are fairly pale and can't get away with wearing light nude shades.

I find myself reaching for Rose Tweed frequently, as it's one of those lipsticks that goes with most makeup looks and is just so easy to wear. So if you aren't into berry lips for autumn, maybe try something like this instead?
