Plump up that pout: Lip Voltage The Powerhouse review

It feels like everyone’s always talking about Kylie Jenner’s perfect pout and whilst there are plenty of tutorials out there on how to overdraw your lips, there is another option! Don’t worry, I’m not encouraging anyone to go and have lip injections but instead use Lip Voltage The Powerhouse* by DreamWeave & Co.

Instagram love.

In the past Instagram was something I could either take or leave. I just wasn't really into it. However over the past few weeks it's become my latest obsession! I love checking my feed to see all of the amazing pictures people have been uploading and I also really enjoy snapping and editing my own photos to share. I think the thing I love about Instagram is that it's so aesthetically pleasing. Even if it is an edited version of people's lives, I'm all for the beauty of it.

I take the majority of my Instagram photos on my iPhone 6 (the camera is SO good compared to my old iPhone 4) and I tend to edit them using either VSCO Cam or by changing the brightness etc. using the in-app settings. I like to take a variety of different snaps, so if you want to see pretty makeup, cute animals, outfits, cocktails and the odd selfie, feel free to give me a follow!

Are you a fan of Instagram?

Mess-free face masks

I don’t know about you but I’m not a big fan of messy face masks. Anything that is a pain to remove or messes up my sink is a real no no these days! With this in mind, I decided to put together a post featuring three mess-free face masks so if there is anyone out there like me (I hope there is) you can try these too.

Accessories Wishlist

Black floppy hat // En Vogue clutch // Precious stone bracelet //
Star necklace // Semi precious stone ring // Gold tone pink dangle earrings

This year I'm trying to make the most of the outfits I already have in my wardrobe and I've found one of the best ways to re-invent clothing is with new accessories. You can pick up new pieces of jewellery relatively cheaply from highstreet stores, with Miss Selfridge, Primark and Topshop being some of the very best places to head.

Pink Luxe lipstick | The Body Shop

Pink Luxe - The Body Shop - £10

After a crazy busy week at work, there’s nothing better than your mum treating you to a new lipstick and in all honesty, my mum couldn’t have picked a better shade for me. Pink Luxe from The Body Shop’s Colour Crush Lipstick collection is a gorgeous pink shade with gold shimmer running through it. It’s one of those lipsticks that’s super easy to apply (a one slick wonder) and has a lovely glossy finish that leaves the lips looking juicy.

I’m a big fan of sheer lip products, so the Pink Luxe Colour Crush lipstick is right up my street. Pink Luxe is so moisturising on the lips and I think it’s perfect for everyday wear. I also really like the packaging of The Body Shop Colour Crush lipsticks as the lids reflect the colour of the lipstick. The lipstick itself has a slightly scent to it, which The Body Shop describe as a rose scent but to me it smells of tea and I love it!

If you haven’t gathered already, there’s nothing I don’t like about Pink Luxe. It offers everything I want in an everyday lipstick and I think it’s going to look so lovely with a gold shimmery eye in the summer months.
Have you tried any of the Colour Crush lipsticks?
Which shade do you recommend me trying next?

600 followers giveaway | Win a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick

Yesterday I hit 600 Bloglovin followers and although it's not the numbers that matter most, it still felt like a great achievement! As a way of saying thank you to the readers of Seek My Scribbles, I wanted to giveaway a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. If you read my Bitch Perfect lipstick review, you'll know just how much I love my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick so I wanted to give someone else the chance to own one (or add another one to their collection) too!

What I've learnt from blogging (nearly) every day for a month

So in January I set myself the challenge of blogging every day for a month and I almost completed it! I managed to post every day apart from yesterday, which left me so mentally drained that the last thing I wanted to do was write a blog post. Anyway, seeing as I managed to blog nearly every day, I thought I'd share some of the things I learnt along the way...
