Eliza May ShooStraps (£9.99 - £10.99) |
I don’t know about you but I have a bit of a love / hate relationship with heels. I love how they improve the look of my legs and make me feel more confident but let’s face it they’re not the most comfortable shoes to walk in!
So when Eliza May kindly set me some of their ShooStraps to try out, I was really intrigued to find out whether they made wearing heels any better for me. Take a look at the Eliza May website and you’ll see they have so many shoe straps designs for you to choose from. You basically slip them over your shoes, fasten the buckle and voila!
I’ve never seen anything like them before and I have to say I’m really impressed! Whilst they definitely help to stop your feet slipping out of your heels (if that’s a problem you have) the main thing I love about them is the fact they completely change the look of your shoes. You can pull out an old pair from the back of your wardrobe, slip on the ShooStraps and it’ll be like you’ve got a brand new pair, without spending any money! I’ve also found they work with flats and pumps, which is great news as mine are always slipping off my feet.
The ShooStraps have an elasticated part that ensures they fit over all shoes and accommodate all ankle sizes. I’m the first to admit that I don’t have the smallest of ankles and these fit me just fine, but what I would say is that they could do with putting in an extra hole or two in for those with tiny ankles.
I was sent the Beautiful Detachable ShooStraps*, the Artistic Beige Detachable ShooStraps* and the Black Single Detachable ShooStraps* all of which go perfectly with my black pointed heels. These are my go-to pair as they go with all my outfits, so it’s great that I can now style them up with these ShooStraps! I particularly like the gold and black ShooStraps as the laced up backs are so gorgeous. I'll definitely be showing you how the others look in future outfit posts, so be sure to look out for them!
What do you think of the Eliza May ShooStraps? Are they something you’d buy?

They're such a clever idea! I'd have never thought something like this existed, but I think I'll have to give them a try. I prefer the two with the buckles rather than the laces, but they all look amazing - anything to make wearing heels easier is good in my book! What a great find.
ReplyDeleteThis is co cool! I've never seen anything like that before but anything to make walking in heels easier, I'm in!

I'd go for the safe bet with Nude Kate but if I were being more daring would try confession. I love reading make up reviews but equally like to hear opinions on drug store dupes for the more expensive products
