Special keyrings from Handmade by Holly

I've always had a soft spot for handmade gifts, there's just something so special about a little trinket, lovingly made with great care and attention to detail. I used to have my own handmade jewellery business, so I know how much time and effort goes into the crafting process. Not only that but how hard it can be to get your creations out there. So today, I thought I'd share a post all about my blogging friend, Holly's new handmade business, aptly named Handmade By Holly.

Holly has started creating a lovely range of personalised keyrings, for baby keepsakes, anniversaries, wedding favours and everything inbetween. The hand sewn keyrings are made with pretty Cath Kidston-esque fabrics and adorned with buttons, ribbons and other little decorations. Holly kindly sent me one as a gift featuring Arthur's name and birthday and I absolutely love it. It's such a sweet keepsake and one I will treasure. At £4.00 (with free UK postage), Handmade By Holly keyrings are extremely affordable and the perfect little gift for a new mama! As I mentioned before, Holly personalises them to your requirements, so you could have them as bridesmaid gifts, wedding favours, birthday gifts, christmas presents - anything you like really and I'm sure the recipient will love them as much as I love mine.

This is what happens when you try to get your 7 month old to pose for a photo holding the keyring. Don't worry I didn't let him eat it!
I don't think Holly will mind me saying that she doesn't exactly have it easy. She suffers from Fibromyalgia & Joint Hypermobility Syndrome and has struggled to do some of the work-related things she wanted to do in the past. I think it's fantastic that through sewing and crafting, she has found something that not only she enjoys doing but can do without making herself really poorly. She's clearly got a talent for it and I wish her the best of luck in getting her handmade business up and running!
